The Client: The company or individual requesting website
services.
Website Design
All domain names will be registered in the client’s name and
will be owned by the client who shall have the responsibility to
renew the domain name. Website hosting is provided by a
third-party hosting company and WWW will not be responsible for
their provision of service, costs relating to transfer in/out of
domain names, renewals or any other matter arising from hosting
issues.
Special offer or discounted price websites need to be paid for
in full prior to commencement. For all web design projects a
deposit is required before any design work will be carried out
and is non-refundable. Once a website has been completed the
final balance of payment is due immediately. Failure to pay
within 7 days may result in the website content being removed
and/or may result in further action being taken to recover costs
and expenses.
WWW reserve the right to refuse to make or arrange hosting for a
web site which we may judge as unfit due to content or
otherwise. This includes, but is not limited by, sites
containing adult oriented material such as pornography, sites
which promote hatred towards persons belonging to any ethnic
group, religion or sexual orientation and sites which infringe
copyright or are contrary to UK laws.
All material, both text and images, supplied by the client or
WWW and used in the construction of the client's web site, will
remain the client's property. All such material will be assumed
to be the property of the client and free to use without fear of
breach of copyright laws or the law of the land whether supplied
by the client or not.
Whilst every endeavour will be made to ensure that the website
and any scripts or programs are free of errors, WWW cannot
accept responsibility for any losses incurred due to
malfunction, the website or any part of it. The website,
graphics and any programming code remain the property of WWW
until all outstanding accounts are paid in full. WWW cannot take
responsibility for any copyright infringements caused by
materials submitted by the client. We reserve the right to
refuse any material of a copyrighted nature unless adequate
proof is given of permission to use such material.
Any additions to the brief will be carried out at the discretion
of WWW at a cost of £75 per update and where no charge is made
by WWW for such additions, WWW accept no responsibility to
ensure such additions are error free and reserve the right to
charge an according amount for any correction to these or
further additions.
The client agrees to make available as soon as is reasonably
possible all materials required to complete the site to the
agreed standard and within the set deadline which is usually 7 days. The remaining balance will be required 3 weeks after order even if no information has been provided by the client.
WWW's website are affordable and as such need to be made in a timely manner to ensure the business continues to operate. If you do not provide the required information within agreed timescales, WWW reserve the right to terminate the contract and will not refund your deposit, except in exceptional circumstances.
WWW will not be
liable for costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings due
to the failure to meet agreed deadlines. If you do not provide
the required information we cannot build your site and will not
refund any deposits.
WWW will not be liable or become involved in any disputes
between the site owner and their clients and cannot be held
responsible for any wrong doing on the part of a site owner.
WWW will not be liable for any costs incurred, compensation or
loss of earnings due to the work carried out on behalf of the
client or any of the clients appointed agents. WWW will not be
liable for any costs incurred, compensation or loss of earnings
due to the unavailability of the site, its servers, software or
any material provided by its agents.
Updates and site maintenance are charged at £49 per quarter in
advance payable by standing order. This will cover minor updates
and changes, continued search optimisation and general
maintenance of the website. Updates outside these terms will be
charged at £75 per page as will major updates and site redesign.
